Thanks for the heads up Wayne. Old Fart just phoned me about the report and it makes the work put into this feel more worthwhile. This will increase the profile of our sport and introduce it to a whole new audience. All those involved with blokarting will find promoting our sport much easier from this and with another feature on channel 10's Totally Wild this morning, the general public are sure to show more interest. If we keep the momentum going, who knows where it will progress to!
To those already entered, good work, keep reminding the others to get their entries in. We have extras entering from different weight classes in the same blokarts, so if you have someone entering heavy or supers, look at putting another driver in light or medium and keep the kart in use, just swap the racers number over between rounds and keep racing.

We are pleased to announce, thanks to Tourism Mackay great efforts, that the Regatta is now 100% go, permit now in place, already 4 karts registered ex Victoria, all we need now is wind on 11th-12th-13th Sept, and a large number of karters register in Mackay, Please pass word around we are all systems go, get your registrations in early so we can work out classes ta!
