FUND RAISING B.B.Q. KITE SURFING FESTIVAL

The fund raising BBQ held at East Point outer harbour Mackay to cater for the Mackay kite surfing festival, was held Sat / Sun Queens birthday. Unfourtunatly mother nature was not in favour for the flying of kites (or Blokarts) in the way of wind strength,
but the kiters turned up in reduced no,s, along with our ever trusty team of C.Q.B.C. volunteers. Without our small team of helpers who always are there to help our club, Ruth and myself would be lost, to you all, and I won't name all, I thank you all. Your efforts where not in vain, our target of public liabilty payment was reached, with a bit of cash left over. Great effort team!!!. Will table figures at next meeting. So all hold your heads high, you done well.
